  Funny you should mention that. I'm supposed to pick up a Handbook
this weekend, to see about installing Linux without removing the drive.
It's an indefinite loan, drat it.
  The owner was trying to install on it last year, put the problem to
the local LUG list, and started a huge flame war. I emailed him last
week to see if he'd been successful, and he said he'd thrown it back in
the closet in disgust. But I'm getting a chance to try my hand at it.

  I'd *really* like to have a Handbook of my own. Classic or not,
they're Way Too Cool (tm). Hopefully, by the time I'm done with John's,
I'll be affluent again.
