With the right formatter (i.e., the Field Service one for the MicroVAX),
you can specify the geometry at low-level format time. With the ROM-
based formatter in the MicroVAX 2000, I _think_ you are limited to DEC
drive geometries and, in many cases, exact models (cf jumper R7 in the
Micropolis drive that's the RD53 (1335?))
