Diagnosing a non-working Mac Performa 476?

I've a feeling it's most likely the PRAM battery. I'll try finding a
replacement. Someone mentioned a CUDA switch on the motherboard for
clearing the PRAM, but the closest thing I can find is an unidentified
pair of jumper pins in rough proximity to the battery. I tried the
command-alt-p-r thing with the existing batteries without luck, but
then there's no Alt key on this particular keyboard (Apple Keyboard II).
It only has command, ctrl, and option meta keys. Once I find a
replacement battery, I'll poke at it again to see what happens.

Thanks to everyone for their advice, I'll followup with my findings
(and possibly more questions) as I progress.
