There are several recent-vintage power plants in Texas.

The most ironic things is most of the biggest environmentalists I've
seen either drive a big SUV or a powerly-maintained old car that has
lots of smoke coming out the tailpipe.

Another ironic thing is the reformulated gas the environmentalists
insisted would cut pollution. The gas caused engine parts to
deteriorate (they insisted there wouldn't be any harm to engines)
and increased pollution as the reformulated gas was less efficient
and caused an increase in consumption.
