The route to success in any mail order business is
to pick a product that costs you less than you
charge the customer for shipping and handling.

My now 7-year-old son has long had a fantasy of building
a helicopter out of scrap wood. I decided to show him the
mail order page from "Boy's Life", which is still carrying
the same ads I remember for the build-your-own hovercraft,
and the "free chameleon."
