Thanks to all you guys who figured out what this "mystery board" is. If I'd
happened to look in my spare parts drawer, I'd have seen a similar board,
since I have an old Logitech hand scanner. I thought it looked familiar, but
I hadn't even considered fooling with the hand scanner for a decade or so,
hence, hadn't seen the board.
