I'm thankful the worst we've got to deal with over here in the UK are
two-inch black house spiders... They do seem to have a taste for flies,
though.
I wish some of the spiders around here would acquire a taste for wasps...
Gawd I hate those things...
Poisonous spiders - just one of the many reasons I'm not moving to the USA
or Australia any time soon... I went to New York (Long Island) last year and
saw a spider that was black (IIRC) and looked like a two-inch replica of the
one in Rockefeller Plaza (?). i.e. long legs, don't know if it had any hair
on it, and it looked like it had cuts taken out of the back of it... Kinda
like chicken-wire.
