'Kombi' was ONE of the several 1950s names of the VW type 2 (aka "VW bus",
aka "Microbus") The model 215 would be one of the best for this purpose
(freight doors on BOTH sides), although one of the "safari" models with
the giant sunroof could be quite handy.
