After just a little bit of further investigation it became apparent the
fuse was bad.
This was made more evident when I attempted to remove the fuse and one
end cap stayed in the fuse socket. After much fighting I was able to
remove this, and now am ready to put in a replacement fuse.... if I can
find one.

So, does anyone have an idea where I can find 1.6A 125v slow-blow fuses of
the 1+1/4" x 1/4" variety?
All the obvious places (RatShack, TV repair places, Mouser,
Newark...) have fuses around that; but not the exact one.

Much appreciated,
JP
