Hello all from up morth...

To the ones who dont know me: I am one of the rare classic computer
collectors in Montreal, Canada...

I dont post alot anymore but I started hunting again this spring...I am
mostly into "home/hobby" 8-16 bitters from the 70s, 80s and early 90s...I go
around mostly to bazars, hamfests, garage sales and flea markets...this is
where I find most of the "home/hobby" machines...but not to worry, I do have
some VAXes and SGIs and SUNs...gotta have a few of those...

I now have a great technique for going around garage sales : a scooter! Hey,
I got the biggest one I could find that did not have "motorcycle status" and
away I went! Several cities around Montreal have "single day collective
garage sales" where people in city X are allowed garage sales only on a
single day or weekend....A town can end up with 500+ garage sales in a 20sq
km area! A scooter is the perfect tool! Small items go into the
trunk...larger, I come back for pickup!

Last 2 week finds:
Trs-80 model III with dual disk (x-clean! with plastic cover & manuals)
Trs-80 model 4D with dual disk (x-clean! with plastic cover)
Summagraphic II for PC inbox with all the accessories (hey, not really cc
but for $2...)
This was nice : Amiga 2000 HD/Amiga genlock/monitor etc...with 5 (yes 5!)
packed cases of Official Commodore Publications. tech ref manuals for Amiga
(hardware, workbench etc...) and books from other pubs on desktop video,
games programming, original inbox software, manuals etc...this person was
really into Amiga...this "lot" by itself filled complety my Tiburon...

Later
Claude
