Appletalk is to hook to a LocalTalk network. You can boot your Apple //e off
of a Mac running AppleShare 3.0 with it, as well as use HD space on the Mac
to store apple files (in ProDOS).
You need the enhanced //e, not the regular, to use it.
I have one but haven't managed to get things going, mostly out of laziness.
