PPCs? If you mean PowerPC, I'm sure it's got a PowerPC core ;) But I
assume you mean something else.

I've read that it was the first. With a version of 1.0.5 or something
like that. I also have a PDF from apple (specifically regarding the
7200 series) which says this:

Drive Setup

transport-independent networking (Open Transport)

Open Firmware startup

enhanced power management software
