It was after my time with the big B but the A0 was a full mainframe
implemented in a PC type enclosure. AFAIK it was not an addin board to a PC.

I always thought Burroughs had an excellent machine numbering system:
four digits, the first being an architecure, the second a technology or
generation and the last two being a CPU model number. You could always
place Burroughs machine in time and performance based on its number.

When the generation number topped out at 9 they were forced to a new
numbering system which I did not follow closeley but the large 6700 type
machines progressed to the A series with a nmber indicating size and
performance. Thus A0 is the smallest, personal system and ISTR A12 and
A15 as well.

The U6000/35 is, I think, a UNIX box of that era.
