I think you're mischaracterizing both his motivations and his behavior.
Nevertheless, it's unfortunate the nomenclature controversy arose, and I
never said it couldn't have been handled better, on all sides.

Just because someone considers an issue important, that does not mean
they are "excessively emotional". What the hell is that supposed to
mean, anyway? All I ask of my emotions is that they be valid.
Feel free to pursue this off-list if you wish. It certainly doesn't need
to be continued here.
