I haven't done much fiddling, but the prom reports no files on one HDD and
claims sash and ide are not executables on the other. So no booting past
the prom yet. :(

Verrrryyyy interesting. Are these the PI 4D/35 specific SIMMS you are
refering to? I do have at least four 4MB SIMMS installed.
