The 2 meg SIMMS are full o' chips, the 4 meg SIMMS are only half-populated,
fill it out to make an 8 meg SIMM. It would appear that the ASIC is the
same on the 4 meg and 8 meg SIMM. I would like to know if the ASIC is the
same on the 2 meg SIMM. I have a number of them, and I would rather
unsolder the old RAM chips and replace them than screw with the only set of
working 4 meg SIMMs I have.
