From the manual for the Pacific 4 Memory Board for my HP IIIP here are all
the suggested 1 megabit (256K x 4) memory chips - 8 required for each
megabyte expansion - all to be 120 nsec or faster:

Motorola - MCM514256P
NEC - uPD424256C
Samsung - KM44C256AP
Okidata - MSM514256RS
Texas Instruments - TMS44C256N
Intel - IP21014
Fujitsu - MB81C4256P
Toshiba - TC514256AP

I have mixed chips (manufacturer and speed) between banks on a memory card
but never within the same bank of eight chips.

To populate my cards I have pulled chips from both 286 motherboards and VGA
cards as suggested in other messages.
