DM8835 quad bi-directional transceiver
I remember the DM8833 and probably have looked at the DM8835 a dozen times,
but never used one. I think they were the inverting version of the DM8833,
but that's anybody's guess at this point. As for a source ... they've been
scarce ever since the 74LS245 became popular. How many do you need?
Yes the 74367 and its scions will substitute for the DM8087. The 8T97 will,
too, but it's probably overkill.
