DECmate III video too wide for the monitor?

I think the idea is to use a TV style monitor, IE
find a TV with a video in jack and a switch that
skips the channel selector.

If your TV doesn't have video in then a thing
called a video modulator will accomodate.
VCRs can perform this function by themselves.
