PDP 11/45 available in the Chicago area

Perhaps so, but maybe someone will save it from the metal scrapper, or maybe
this guy will come down in price. I don't really want to get in the middle
of this,
but I hate seeing another machine get taken apart even more... I think that
it is
actually a bit fortunate that the front panel is damaged. It means that it
won't be
removed for the quick $100+ that they seem to bring on ebay, all by themselves.
The 11/45 is a very important machine in the DEC 11 lineup. It is the
oldest with
split I/D, which means that it can run some pretty significant software.
