Floating Point EPU for Z8000

Hi All
 Does anyone have any of the software information
on the Z8000 Floating Point EPU? The CP/M-8000
that I've been working on uses an emulated EPU
( extended processing unit ). It also has code
to run with a real EPU. This is all fine and dandy
except I have no information on what is needed
from a software point of view. I need a model of
what the real EPU does.
 The assembler I have includes the fp instructions
but the docs don't mention how they are used.
I suppose I could look to see how the C compiler
uses them and look at the emulation code but
it would be a lot easier with a users manual.
 Heck, I'm not even sure they actually made the
part.
