OK, I can make it display a picture - if I press a button that displays
the OSD, it'll play the OSD with a properly sync'd image in the
background. However, the image very quicky (possibly somewhat random
timebase) fades in and out, as if the brightness was being adjusted at a
very fast rate. If I'm lucky, when I press a button to disable the OSD,
the monitor will get 'stuck' in a brightness level that makes the picture
visable. Simply trying to adjust the brightness and contrast with the
front-panel controls offers no solution.

I'll take a look at that once I get this E20 off of my workbench...
