Actually there are often old computers in anime and even a whole
series revolving around playing old arcade games. There is one rather
R rated series where different characters are named after various old
models of Macs.
What I've found a better match up of anime and old computers is that I
can trade anime for old computers. Got an Atari Portfolio and a Poly-88
that way. :-)
