HP Protocol Analyzers

I have a 4951A but it is missing the floppy/tape and the cable that goes from
the
back to the 18173A RS-232/V24 interface pod. It is a 37 pin cable with a DB
like
connector.

Anybody know if a flat cable will do? I tried to turn it on but the vertical
sync
sees dead
