Looking for statistics on the Computer market of the 80's

I know it may not seem 'techno-savvy', but have you tried your campus's
library? Here at Purdue (according to the search page anyways) we've got
backissues going back to 1980. If you don't have much luck finding
anything, contact me off list and I should be able to get around to doing
some research Wednesday or Thursday (After my two exams this week, that
is).
