My Visioneer cost $40 in 2001, and died a month ago. I suppose two years
isn't too bad for $40 though. :)
The scanner had a tendancy to stop scanning correctly - the resultant scan
would be a fabulous collage of pastel colours - which required completely
uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling.
Still, your mileage may vary.
