shipping help from UK

Jay,

   UPS ships everything by air when shipping overseas. Needless to say, it
gets expensive! Try the USPS (or the local country's postal serice)
instead. Also be aware that "overweight" or "oversized" packages are a LOT
more expensive. It may be a LOT cheaper to break the package into two
smaller/lighter packages. I shipped an Apple Lisa (~60#) to Japan and I
saved about 2/3 by shipping it in two packages instead of one.
