(... depends on what you want to do with the analyser.)
The LM319/80nS was mentioned as a starting point, fast enough to be useful for a lot of work, slower ones are way slower, the latest linear ref. manual that I have (National Semi./1988) has comparators down to 20nS (with complementary outputs).

(Actually, I have a few NOS Motorola 10124 TTL->ECL translators if they are that hard to come by and someone is desperate.)
