In this case the fuse is sensitive to curent-flow, and not actual Watts,
as your calculations (which are correct, just mis-applied) would suggest.
So you should be fine with a 250V unit rated for the nameplate current.
If it blows the new 2-amp fuse, then yes there are further problems -
quite likely not though. If it had been unused for *years*, then I'd be
careful about turn-on current, but I think if you put a 2-amp fuse in you
oughta be good-to-go.
