new info on fuse

If you have a multimeter unplug your unit, install a good fuse or jumper in
the fuse holder, and check the resistance of power plug to the ground pin or
to the metal chasis on the player. Any continuity means you have something
shorting to ground. If you really need this unit running take it to a vcr
repair facility (if they still exists) and get an estimate for repair.
