Excellent!. A hacker in the making, I hope....

VIntage computers are (one of?) the best ways to learn about computers.
They're simple enough to fully understand without too much work (I am not
a programmer, I am a hardware hacker. I can look at the schematic for
just about any vintage micro or mini and understand it).

However, bieing cynical, I do wonder what the point of learning about
computers is, other than personal interest. I often think that the worst
mistake I made -- 32 years ago -- was becoming a physicist/engineer. OK,
it's all I was ever interested in, and I've really enjoyed it over the
years, but nobody seems to want people like us any more.
