Isn't this one of the worst things you can do with a classic machine?
Unless there's a student or teacher who is already clueful about old
computers, nobody is going to know what to do with it. It'll sit around
for a few weeks, and then go to the murdering scrap dealers :-(

When I was at school, some 20-odd years ago, a lot of stuff was donated
and then checked out. I rescued all I could (quite a bit...) as did other
students, lab tecnicians, etc. But it certainly wasn't used for
educational purposes.
