In the article in the New Yorker, the Monrobot XI sales guy stated that,
"It can do an average of five thousand arithmetical computations per
minute." That would only be around 83 calculations per sec.

These numbers indicate it was capable of around 111 additions per
second, 30 multiplications per second, and 2 divisions per second.
