Ah, a man after my own heart :-)
I always use pen and paper for the initial schematics for anything I design.
Then I bring the schematic into either EAGLE or Protel Autotrax and then
start routing the board. Or I just bodge the thing on stripboard, depends
how tired/lazy (delete where appropriate) I am on that particular day <g>.
