I just picked up a platinum Apple IIe with an Echo ][ card in it Saturday! I
also got the Echo speaker. If anyone has any information about it (ie, how
to PROGRAM for it), I'd really like to hear it. Glad you mentioned that it
is a speech synthesizer, since I didn't even know that.
