Heh. here, 220VAC _at_ 20A is normal house wiring. Many houses here
are fed with 48A (new) or 60A (old), on three circuits. High power
circuits (dryers, arcos etc) are done on 380VAC (3-phase) here.

My apartment now has the usual 3 220V (60A) circuits, two 380VAC
circuits, and a new 500VAC power line attached to the power stuff
downstairs :)
