For one thing, spare light bulbs and a spare socket from the junk box
costs less... and with the economy the way is, for a lot of us who
once worked in the computer field and got displaced by cheap slave
labor, such as H1B visa holders, overseas outsourcing and the
long-hours/low-wage kiddies (recent college/trade-school grads who
don't get paid to think for themselves), every penny counts.
