On-line storage backup options

I know the later versions (9.0+) of Vertias (ex Seagate) Backup Exec will
allow your to backup to a file, as well as to tape. This can be scheduled
to run automatically at a given time, and operated in the same manner as a
tape backup.

Not sure of the price of it (is not cheap) but you can donload a copy off
fhtier website, and I know they offer a free 30 day trial of it.

Personally, I use FreeBSD on my server, and a ruby script called "pdumpfs"
that copies everything over to another disc each night, using hard links
for unchanged files, so it only takes up more disc space for files that
change...
