On-line storage backup options

Well, I had the same thought as I carried a backup of Win98 on a thumbsized
USB pen drive, damned weird who things insofar as storage is concerned has
changed.... Around 89-90 I remember installed a Compaq 333DX server, it
was a 386DX 33mhz system with 40mb's of storage and I had just installed
Netware 2.15 onto it and I remember after the install looking at the box and
saying how could anyone ever use of 40mb's of disk space....

Geeez you can't even install a decent system with apps on 40mbs anymore with
room for you data, I've got 42gb of just data now and I just picked up a
pair of 200gb drives to mirror for some major scanning of files this
winter... I'm waiting to hear in the next year or two about persons
talking about having an EMC 1TB storage array in their homes.... I mean
10-12 years ago it was a dream to have a Vax 6000 in your house, now you can
pick them up for nothing. So the same thing is happening with storage,
especially with all the dotcom liquidators.
