Yes, the problem the new HP-Compaq people have with these machines is
that they were so high quality that they never needed to be replaced
by more recent models - they just didn't become defective.

Meanwhile, though, HPQ has this obvious quality problem under control.

This becomes off topic, but you should have a look at the upcoming new
HP33 (not!).
