On Topic? Looking for opinions...
I have a subscription to FreeBSD, so I automatically get the full 4 CD set
each time they cut a release. I can download it quickly enough, and often do
(I keep an install image on a bootable USB flash pen drive). I only have the
subscription to support the effort so to speak.
But for your use, why buy it? Just download for free. Or, you can download
just the install floppies, boot them, and it will install "across the
internet". Or I can send you a cd set.
