Hmm, right that's one thing I'm not too sure about... the cable is just
straight-thru, right? I'm using a makeshift cable (one of a couple that I've
tried), and it's straight-thru, because I was assuming the 'real' cable is as
well. Sometime today I'll try to look to see if there's anything too obvious
that's wrong (eg missing 4MHz clock signal).
