There are already two ways to do that:

* Apple SuperDrive controller w/ an Apple SuperDrive (AKA FDHD).

* SHH BlueDsik Universal Floppy Disk Controller with a normal
  PC-style 3.5-inch floppy drive.

GS/OS includes an MS-DOS FST, but ISTR it being read-only.
