In my experience its not worth the time to test it,
you will get a higher price, but not much higher. It
takes time to test it but the bigger problem is that
the buyer will expect it to work when he receives it,
this can be a real problem when the buyer doesn't know
how to use it to begin with or doesn't know how to do
simple things like reseat the boards. You could spend
hours on the phone and end up with a bad experience.

Even if something works I always sell it "as is,
untested"
