Apple ProFile interface protocol?

Given the stuff they've already got laying about for people to play with,
including the Lisa and the SX64 once they're fixed I wouldn't worry about
the profile. Plus, they're not exactly uncommon beasts so replacements can
still be had.

A couple of years ago someone here was talking about writing a Profile
emulator but I'm not sure how far they got.
