Yep, done all of that. I'm beginning to wonder about Mark's comments about
the battery though, since when I bought it at a car boot sale a few years
ago it had 2 very dead PRAM batteries so I put a couple of spares in and
away we went. Then it went back into storage while I waited to get my hands
on the black external terminator for a CD-ROM and when that came along (with
a Radius accelerator and an ethernet card) the machine wouldn't boot even
though the batteries were still ok.

I'll remove them and leave it for 24 hours.
