What models do the manuals cover? This is fairly important, as technical
manuals for machines like the System 360 and 370 (processor model numbers
are in the 2000 and 3000 series), and old old machines like the 1401,
7090, etc. are worth a great deal more than manuals for the minicomputers
(generally with model numbers in the 4000 and 5000 series).

I don't think you need to worry about trashing them - there are plenty of
IBM fans out there that would like a collection like this.
