Then you need to output from electronic logic with LEDs, and input with
phototransistors. Big schmeel. :-)

I expect electricity to still be in use, even if only as a means of
schlepping power around. And as long as electricity is in use, I
expect electronics to be with us in some form or other.

an unjustified mutation of it. :)
