Whoa! Don't confuse those involved in pro-audio (e.g., those who work
with recording, live sound reinforcement, etc.) with the golden-eared
audiophiles (typically hobbyists who don't know a balanced line from a
dBu, but who will pay small fortunes for audiophile grade cables). In
some cases, some people are involved in both. However, for the most
part, there exists a big difference.

Some of those golden-eared audiophiles are even paying unreasonably
large sums of money for hi-fi and guitar amplifiers with brand-names
such as Eico and Silvertone, which some hucksters are actually
promoting as being so-called "high-end" products. Well, we all know
what P.T. Barnum said...
