SOemwhere I have a valved hearing aid. It uses 3 submini valves -- a pair
of DF64s in the first 2 stages and a DL64 in the output stage. These
valves are wire-ended, with 5 wires in line.

Howeverm they are plugged into little sockets inside -- I've seen the
same sockets, but with only 3 contacts fitted, used as transistor
sockets.

There were also sockets for the 8 pin subminis. I have one somewhere.
